After a while without posting here, I decided to come back with reviews of a few things I own and possible problems I find along the way. Today my problem is with this Fingerbot Plus, which I bought some time ago, on May 3, 2023.
The thing is, this Fingerbot comes with a 3V CR2 battery. It lasted a while and then discharged, so I started the saga of buying a new battery. I thought that in this scenario the ideal option would be buying a rechargeable battery and recharging it whenever it ran out.
Well, I bought the rechargeable battery from this listing. It arrived with some charge, but when I placed it in the included charger, something very curious happened. The battery charged, and when I put it in the device, it recognized it, showed the battery level, said it executed the actions, but did not perform the click.

The battery has the same specification as the original one, CR2 3V. I measured both batteries with a multimeter after charging and both showed 3V. I can only believe the issue is with the battery or that the click switch is somehow stuck.
I was going to open the Fingerbot, but decided not to continue because I want to test another battery first. Also, I would probably damage the casing quite a bit.

This Fingerbot integrates with Tuya and can even be used together with Home Assistant. That tutorial is outdated today because I use it on a Beelink mini PC, and I will update it soon. It can also work with Alexa.
Have you ever had this problem? Do you use a Fingerbot? Which battery do you use in it?
